Dear Maybelline - thank you for making a super spectacular new eyeliner!!!!

Veronika loves her gel eye liner from Bobbi Brown... but i wasnt about to spend that much money on eyeliner. I've seen a few people mention MAC's eyeliner also, but i just wasnt sure about it. All i knew was that my purminerals and revlon pencils just werent cutting it in this heat around here. I'm outside alot for work and play, and my eyeliner was just smearing all over the place under my eyes. It looked AWFUL. Anywho - I was reading a magazine on my way home from Vegas last month (blog about that shortly), and it was either Glamour or Cosmo (cause i found something i wanted to try in both of them), and i came across the ad for Maybelline's new EyeStudio gel eye liner. I of course bought it in black. And now i want it in all 4 colors. It goes on super easy and it also blends really well. I use one my Revlon Beyond Natural pencil (in buff) with it sometimes when i wear it alone. This stuff lasts and lasts... I have softball practice after work some days, and my whole face was drenched in sweat yesterday - but my eyeliner - was in. tact. Incredible. And it's only like $10. even better. I love it!

I'm a sucker for all things pink. and glittery. and with my intials. So I got a glittery R, little bags with a pink heart on them, and pink polka dot flags! One of my friends needs to get preggo and have a girl or something so i can use these. haha. Neh, ill find a use for em. I'm sure just sipping on the straw with the flag on it is enough to give me a nice little cheer up on a blah day :)

Well Hello There!

A month? Really? I havent posted for a month?! I dont even know where to start now. Life's been fun tho. Driving the cobra top down. Photoshoots. Softball. It's been alot of fun. I was just updating the photography blog and I've got lots of stuff scheduled to post over the next few days. Over the next month or two I've got a couple bridal sessions and engagement shoots and a wedding scheduled. This softball season is coming to an end but the next one is starting in June. And this weekend is the Pasadena Strawberry Festival! We're playing mud volleyball for the first time ever! It's going to be a good time. Also this weekend - our 1st wedding anniversary! We've got volleyball and softball games so im not sure what else we'll be able to squeeze in there, but I'll let you know later. I'll see if i can't update this thing a little more regularly ;)

Literally. I know you know how busy i am. But we got a new car. yes, it's a mustang. One of our dream mustangs and then some. We got....

a 2003 Mustang Cobra Convertible. Dark Shadow Grey. #2473 of 5082 verts that year. of those verts...446 of them were DSG. Semi rare car. hehe!

With the arrival of the cobra, one of the other 3 mustangs has got to go. Justin's silver supercharged 2000 GT is leaving us...but we know where she's going, and we'll see her often.

We've had some great photoshoots lately, softball games have started, and my bestie is getting married this weekend!! Hope you are all getting more rest than I am :)

Insanity = My Calendar Lately

Ya it's been a little slow on the blog. Let me tell you why.

My best friend is getting married one month from yesterday and I'm the matron of honor! I shot her bridal portraits the weekend before last and I've been planning her bridal shower, which is this Saturday (will post pics afterwards). I need to tan, get my dress altered, and find shoes and jewelry still. She has a couple's shower on the 26th. and then the 27th is her bachelorette party! She still doesnt quite know what all's planned for her that night. hehe! Now, in the midst of all that...

Uh - it's Rodeo time in Houston! I love rodeo time. We had tickets to Kenny Chesney, but didnt go...but we did go Monday to Tim McGraw. We saw him last year also. This year was great again. He seems like such an awesome guy to be friend's with. Alot of the rodeo artists go greet the fans in the action seats and everything - but he did something I've never seen - He started at one end and walked the entire arena shaking everyone's hand. If your hand was out, he didnt just touch it, he shook it. Very very cool. We gave away our tickets to Rascal Flatts last night, but tonight we're headed out to see Brad Paisley - we've got suite tickets! mmm! We saw him last year too and he is faaaantastic.

I've also got...what...3 photoshoots scheduled between all of that? I just finished my first quinceanera, and now ahead of me ive got a cute set of twins, some handsome brothers, and an e-shoot! - with some more inquiries as well.

And get this - im playing softball this year. That starts the 21st. I'm pretty excited about it tho. It's a co-ed team made up of my co-workers mostly, and Justin's playing too. I havent played on an actual team in quite a few years!

And last but not least - Vegas is calling my name for a 3rd year in a row. 2 weeks after Amanda's wedding - we're heading back. Gonna do some more sight seeing, probably visit Hoover Damn and stuff this time and not spend so much time at the hotel.

whew! Once May gets here, im going to be exhausted. and it's going to be awesome. I like being busy!
